Charles Lowry, pastor of CrossPointe Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Wright was born September 6, 1932 in Lefors. He had been a lifelong resident of Pampa. He married Wanda Roberts on April 11, 1972 in Pampa. Mr. Wright was an engineer for the Texas Highway Department, retiring in 1972 after 22 years of service. He later owned and operated Wright's Furniture for 10 years, and was the current owner and operator of Action Bail Bonds. He was a former member of Central Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. National Guard. J. P. will never be forgotten for the many people he helped; young, old, sick or well, if anyone needed his help he was there for them. Much of his life was spent being a caregiver for the elderly. J. P. was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and he also had a special love for his two four-legged companions, Bubba and Nacho. SURVIVORS: Wife: Wanda Wright of the home; 6 daughters: Vicki Lesher and husband Tim, Staci Proctor and husband Tim, Rhonda Ely, Melinda Brewer, Alisha Stroud and husband Greg, and Becky Willis and husband Lynn, all of Pampa; 1 son: Troyce Brewer and wife Michelle of Pampa; 1 sister: Lavern Coronis of Pampa; 1 brother: Gerald Wright of Pampa; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
