SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, October 24, 2008, at First Free Will Baptist Church of Pampa, with Rev. Eldon Bagwell, evangelist of Springdale, Arkansas, and Rev. Albert Maggard, pastor of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Pampa, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. BIOGRAPHY: Rev. Lynch was born October 14, 1914 in Clifty, Arkansas. He married Letty Josephine Metcalf on January 10, 1939 in Clifty, and she preceded him in death in 1989. Rev. Lynch organized and pastored at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Pampa, and had been a minister for 50+ years. He had been a resident of Pampa from 1959 until he moved to Odessa in 2002.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Lester R. Lynch and wife Melba of Pampa, and Ronald Lynch and wife Glenda of Amarillo; 1 daughter: Peggy Hoggatt and husband Donald of Odessa; 1 brother: Robert Riley Lynch of Leatham, Illinois; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Rev. Lynch was preceded in death by a daughter: Betty Carter in 1996; and a granddaughter: Desiree Carter in 2003.MEMORIALS: Seabury Nursing Center Activity Fund, 2443 W. 16th Street, Odessa, Texas 79763.
