Rick Parnell, associate pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Glover was born January 17, 1916 in Wilson, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1938. Tom married Leona Sexton on June 10, 1940 in Ada, Oklahoma. He worked for Cabot Corporation for 35 years, retiring in 1974. He was active in the Optimist Club baseball program in the 1950's and 1960's, having served as both a manager and commissioner. Tom also managed a teenage league team and the semi-pro baseball team. Tom and Leona moved to Plano in 2002 to be near family and because of health issues. Even though Tom moved from the Panhandle, he was the consummate Pampa goodwill ambassador. He couldn't tell enough people how proud and blessed he was to have called Pampa his "home town." He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Pampa.SURVIVORS: wife of 68 years: Leona Glover of the home; 2 sons: DeWayne Glover and wife Janie of Frisco, and Jerry Glover and wife Kathy of Scottsdale, Arizona; 1 sister: Joyce Trabue of Hemet, California; 1 brother: Harold Glover and wife Jeanie of Konawa, Oklahoma; 6 granddaughters: Debi Means and husband Michael, Julie Hobert and husband Randy, Tiffany Glover, Tammy Black and husband Walter, Julie Wiggins, and Beth Monty and husband Bryan; 8 precious great-grandchildren: Samantha, Emily, Abigail, Bradley, Chelsea, Kennedy, Lauren and Roxanne; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 513 E.
