She married Jerry Bruce on December 20, 1955 in Pampa. Barbara has been a resident of Pampa since 1953. She was a self-employed beautician since 1960. Barbara was a member of the Trinity Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Vance Bruce, on February 6, 2000, a brother, Jim Baird, and a sister, Sharon Kay Baird.SURVIVORS: Husband: Jerry Bruce of the home; 1 brother: H. L. "Buster" Baird of Howardwick; 1 daughter-in-law: Linda Bruce of Pampa; 2 grandsons: Ryan Bruce and wife Tracy and Christian Bruce and wife Amanda all of Pampa; and 4 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N.
