Singleteary on July 13, 1970 in Juarez, Mexico. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1998, moving from Littlefield. J. B. was a retired farmer and auto salesman. He was a former member of the Early Risers Lions Club in Littlefield. He was a Baptist and a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict.SURVIVORS: wife: Shirley J. Langwell of the home; 3 sons: Randy Langwell and wife Debra of Amarillo, Donald Langwell of Littlefield, and Mike Langwell of Bremerton, Washington; 3 daughters: Jolene Happ and husband Bob of Bremerton, Washington, Sharon Alford and husband Norris, and Janie Simpson and husband Buddy, all of Levelland; 3 brothers: Eddie Langwell and wife Terry of Claude, Larry Langwell and wife Glenda of Combine, and Gary Langwell of Borger; 7 grandchildren, including 2 granddaughters: Crystal Roberts and husband Joe and Misty Searsy, all of Levelland; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 special cousins: Betty and Eddie Reames of Pampa. J. B. was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Connie Langwell in 2002.
