Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Short was born on Feb. 1, 1944 in Friona and attended Friona schools. She married Thomas F. Short on March 9, 1962 in Friona. She had been a resident of Pampa for over 40 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.SURVIVORS: 4 sons: Arthur Ray Short of White Deer, Thomas Daniel Short and Troy James Short, both of Pampa, and Richard Lowell Short of Rainbow; 2 sisters: Caroline Beers and Rose Miller, both of Port Charlotte, FL; and by 7 grandchildren.
