Richard Bartel, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Miss Couts was born November 1, 1950 in Groom and was a 1969 graduate of Pampa High School where she was a member of the FHA. She owned and operated Charlet's Café in Groom for several years before moving to Houston. Charlet lived in Houston for several years before returning to Pampa in 2006. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Groom.SURVIVORS: 5 brothers: John Couts, Joe Couts, Clint Couts and Charley Couts, all of Pampa, and Bill Couts of Caldwell; 3 sisters: Linda Couts and Marilyn Couts Bridges, both of Dayton, and Janneice Couts Pool of Eunice, New Mexico.
