SERVICES: Vigil will be at 7:30 PM Thursday, August 28, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, and funeral mass will be at 4:30 PM Friday, August 29, 2008, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery with military honors courtesy of U. S. Army, Fort Hood, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Walsh was born September 2, 1941 in Graham. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock and served in the U. S. Army Reserves for six years. Patrick married Sandra Bienroth on August 26, 1967 in Lubbock. He had been a resident of Pampa since August of 1974. He was employed by Cabot/IRI/National Oilwell-Varco for 29 years and was employed by Culberson-Stowers for four years. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church and he also attended Zion Lutheran Church. Patrick was a member of the Industrial Engineers of America. He was an avid race fan and car enthusiast. Patrick was a wonderful and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a devout Christian who put his family's wants and needs before his own. He was loved by all and will be missed by his friends and family. SURVIVORS: wife: Sandra Walsh of the home; son: Matthew T. Walsh and wife Secilia of Midland; grandson: Kolten M. Walsh of Lubbock; 2 step-grandsons: Ricky Garcia, Jr., and Steven Garcia, both of Midland; brother: Charles Walsh and wife Billie of Englewood, Colorado; 3 sisters: Sandra Newell and husband Truett of Hobbs, New Mexico, Marcy MacRobert and husband Jim of Mangum, Oklahoma, and Mary Cox of Abilene; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank and Rose Bienroth of Fritch; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Frankie and Jerry Hildenbrand of Pampa.
