SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, August 29, 2008, at Central Baptist Church, with elder James Baker of the Primitive Baptist Church in Borger, officiating.ENTOMBMENT: Memory Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Lee was born August 8, 1928 near Erick, Oklahoma. He married Alice Guthrie on September 18, 1950 in Quail. Bill had been a resident of Pampa since 1952. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Germany. He retired from Ogden & Son after 50 years of service. After his retirement, Bill raised cattle and hay.SURVIVORS: wife: Alice Lee of the home; 2 sons: Kenneth Lee and wife Marilyn, and David Lee and wife Teresa, all of Pampa; 2 daughters: Brenda Swindell and husband Larry of Amarillo and Dee Ann Strickland and husband Gil of Pampa; 1 brother: James Lee of Lefors; 2 sisters: Wilma Shults of Pampa and Bonnie Howard of Borger; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandsons.MEMORIALS: Primitive Baptist Church of Perryton, c/o Burl Hardy, 14490 County Road 24, Perryton, Texas 79070.
