SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, August 7, 2008, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Bob Hudson, pastor of Bible Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. DeWitt was born June 13, 1954 in Spur. She had been a resident of Amarillo for 20 years. She was a nail technician, retiring in 2004.SURVIVORS: Husband: Ralph Iruegas of the home; 3 sons: Ron DeWitt, Jr., of Perryton, Billy DeWitt of Amarillo, and Michael Jose Velasquez of the home; parents: Guadalupe and Jesus Velasquez of Pampa; 3 brothers: Jesus Maria Velasquez and Domingo Velasquez, both of Pampa, and Rick Velasquez of Amarillo; 4 sisters: Aide Nava of El Paso, Maria Guadalupe Velasquez and Margie Cawthorn, both of Amarillo, and Lolly Carver of Pampa; 5 grandchildren; special friend, Nicole Griffin of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Daniel DeWitt. Memorials may be made to the Michael Velasquez Education Trust Fund, c/o Education Credit Union, 4400 W I-40, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
