Doug Hixson, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Epps was born June 2, 1922 in Van Alstyne, Texas where she attended Van Alstyne schools. She married Lewis Epps on March 15, 1942 in Paris, Texas. Evelyne was named "Artist of the Year" in 1986. She specialized in Indian and western art. As an artist, she felt a moral obligation to help people see the beauty of nature and make the viewer aware of God in every creation. Evelyne was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Business and Professional Women's Sunday School class. She taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of the Pampa Fine Arts Association.SURVIVORS: husband: Lewis Epps of the home; 1 son: Andy Epps and wife Kay of Pampa; 2 daughters: Barbie Crow and husband Bud and Della Moyer and husband Jim, all of Pampa; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Beadie Baird of Pampa.
