SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, June 13, 2008, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. James Greer, director of missions of Top O' Texas Baptist Association, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Woodward was born January 3, 1921 in Springfield, Missouri. She married Irvin H. Woodward on November 22, 1941. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1992. Ruble had been a Pampa resident for 50 years, living in Amarillo this past year with her son. She was a member of Hobart Baptist Church.SURIVORS: 2 sons: Calvin Cargill of Pampa and Jerry Woodward of Amarillo; 1 daughter: Marquetta Langley and husband Roger of Springdale, Arkansas; 2 sisters: Ora Mae Hedrick and husband Roger, and Gloria Marlar and husband Bobby, all of Pampa; 1 brother: J. A. Tackett and wife Delpha of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandsons. Ruble was preceded in death by a son, James Cargill on June 5, 2008, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
