Steve Cox, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Shelton was born January 26, 1921 in Ellis Co., Oklahoma. She married Clovis E. Shelton April 26, 1940 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1980. She had lived in Pampa since 1950 where she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Clara Barton, 5 brothers, and 1 sister. SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Marlyn Butler of Midland and Carol McCain and husband Ronnie of Pampa. 1 son: Cleon Shelton and wife Michelle of Cypress. 2 brothers: Charlie Barton of Arnett, Oklahoma and Jack Barton of Missouri. 4 sisters: her twin sister, Lora Bittman of Shattuck, Oklahoma, Neva Laxson of Amarillo, Ima Detrixhe of Higgins, and Jean Bybee of Edmond, Oklahoma; 2 sisters-in-law: Loravelle Shahan of Dell City, Oklahoma and Bobby Jo Shelton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: St. Paul United Methodist Church, 511 N. Hobart, Pampa, Texas 79065.
