Doug Hixson, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Thompson was born June 25, 1933 in Amarillo. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1953. She married Clark Thompson on May 29, 1954 in Masterson. Jean had been a resident of Pampa since 1966, joining Barrett Baptist Church that same year, which later became Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and was a volunteer for Tralee Crisis Center and Pampa Meals on Wheels.SURVIVORS: Husband: Clark Thompson of the home; 2 daughters: Debbie Taylor of Pampa and Shelly Sexton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 1 brother: Don Tweedy of Fort Worth; 1 sister: JoElla Turner of Ft. Collins, Colorado; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.MEMORIALS: Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2410 W. 23rd Ave., Pampa, Texas 79065.
