SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, April 4, 2008, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, with Pastor Jimmye Cole of the Church of the Nazarene of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Pearce was born March 23, 1912 in Shongaloo, Louisiana. She married William Claud Pearce on September 26, 1928 in Smackover, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1977. Lena was a former resident of Pampa, moving to Lindale in 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Pampa.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Marjorie Edmunds and Claudia Cole, both of Hideaway, Texas; 1 sister: Treby Staten of Springhill, Louisiana; 1 brother: Jim Lindsey of Cotton Valley, Louisiana; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
