SERVICES: 10:00 AM Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of First Baptist Church, and Butch Shepherd, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Myatt was born February 1, 1919 in Chillicothe, Texas, to Ruth Kate and Robert Williams. Rosie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was characterized by her gentle spirit, her kindheartedness and her humor. Throughout her lifetime, Rosie was also a talented musician and a gifted artist. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Rosie was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ed Myatt.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Marilyn Cook and husband Bo of Houston, and Martha Cunningham and husband Pete of Waxahachie; 2 grandchildren: Chris Cunningham and wife Joanna of Waxahachie, and Eric Cunningham of Dallas; 3 sisters-in-law: Betty Bohlander of Pampa, Jenny Ralls and Norma Healy and husband Frank, all of San Antonio. The family would like to extend their special thanks to Sandy and Leonard Warren, and Dr. Joe Donaldson for their continuous support and assistance.Memorial contributions in Rosie's name may be made to the organization or charity of your choice.
