SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2008, at the Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma, with Pastor Roger Dunn of the Calvary Baptist Church of Perry, Oklahoma, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Morphew was born March 11, 1921 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She married Ben Morphew on June 3, 1937 in Perry, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1984. Marjorie had been a resident of Pampa since 1969. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Debi Just and husband Frank of Fairplay, Colorado, and Patty Griffin and husband Jacob of Pampa; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Delores Metz on December 17, 2003, and Janice Sloan on August 1, 1989; 1 son: Benny Morphew on December 17, 2005; and 1 sister, Vivian Harruff on May 28, 1997.MEMORIALS: Critter Haven Rescue Center, 6105 Rockwell Road, Amarillo, Texas 79105.
