SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Paul Nachtigall, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Adair was born Feb. 10, 1929 in Pocasset, Oklahoma, and she attended school in Oklahoma. She married Richard Brantley on April 3, 1946 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1947. Mrs. Adair was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She worked as a nurse at Highland General Hospital and then later became a real estate agent for Quentin Williams Realtors. She won an award for real estate Salesperson of the Year in 1966. She later worked as a seamstress for Pampa Tent and Awning. She loved to fish and travel and had a great zest for life.SURVIVORS: 1 son: Louis Brantley of Pampa; 2 daughters: Olivia Howard of Minneapolis, MN and Karen Ayala of Pampa; 1 brother: Kenneth Kirby of Pampa; 1 sister: Bernice Vier off Carlsbad, NM; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brantley, by a sister, Ellen Kirby, and by 2 brothers, H. J.
