SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, in Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Nancy Ruff, commissioned lay pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. McDonald was born August 31, 1922 in White Deer. She married Kent McDonald on April 3, 1943 in Pampa at the First Presbyterian Church. Georgia worked and retired from Cabot in the carbon black accounting office. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pampa. She enjoyed fishing, painting, playing bridge, and most of all, traveling in the R.V. Georgia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.SURVIVORS: Husband: Kent McDonald of the home; son: Charles McDonald of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter: Janelle Cohoon of Lake Kiowa; sister: Ouida Shurley of Midland; good friend: Roy Sparkman; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Georgia was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Overstreet, and her good friend, Margaret Sparkman.MEMORIALS: First Presbyterian Church Book of Remembrance, 525 N. Gray, Pampa, Texas 79065.
