Casey Stafford, Mr. Huckins' grandson, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Huckins was born October 29, 1929 in Hutchinson County. He married Naomi Joy Bigham on July 12, 1950 in Sidney, Nebraska. He had been a resident of Pampa for 23 years. Gerold worked for Skelly Oil as an oilfield mechanic, retiring from Texaco in 1990. He was a member of the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM and was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.SURVIVORS: Wife: Naomi Joy Huckins of the home; 2 daughters: Emily Smith of Galveston and Donna Rowland of Woodland Park, Colorado; 4 grandchildren: Kevin Enger of Charlotte, North Carolina, Casey Stafford of College Station, Tracy Smith and Amanda Smith, both of Galveston; 1 great-grandson: Kyle Reece Enger of Charlotte, North Carolina; 1 brother: Norvel G. Huckins of Skellytown; 1 sister: Barbara Snodgrass of Duncan, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleon G. and Gertrude Huckins; 2 brothers, E. T. "Jack" Houston and Sam Houston; and 1 sister: Brooksye Boughan.
