SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2008, at the White Deer Cemetery in White Deer, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Bennett was born December 5, 1920 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He married Maxine Adams on March 6, 1947 in Amarillo. Bill worked for Cabot as a plant operator for 35 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving three years in the South Pacific.SURVIVORS: Wife: Maxine Bennett of the home; 1 daughter: Victoria Parsons of Pampa; 2 sons: Keith Bennett and Ken Bennett, both of San Antonio; 5 sisters: Bernice Todd of Livingston, Lois Callaway and Irene Phillips, both of Amarillo, Betts Sumrall of Astoria, Oregon, and Kathy Jester of Denton; 5 grandchildren: Shawn Welch, Brian Tripplett, Jessica Bennett, Kori Bennett and Amanda Bennett; 5 great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
