SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2008, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Rodriguez was born December 9, 1944 in Durango, Mexico. He came to Pampa in 1980 from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He married Manuela Gonzalez on February 12, 1965 in Durango, Mexico. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2006. Jose was a hard worker who raised 11 children. He was a former employee of the Iowa Beef Packers in Amarillo. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and gardening.SURVIVORS: 5 daughters: Maria Sanchez and husband Enrique, Bertha Cordova and husband Francisco, Lorena Rodriguez, Gisela Portillo and husband Manuel, and Lourdes Perez, all of Pampa; 6 sons: Joe Rodriguez, Raymond Rodriguez, Abel Rodriguez, Salvador Rodriguez, Rudy Rodriguez and Jesus Rodriguez, all of Pampa; mother: Catalina Rodriguez of Durango, Mexico; 2 sons-in-law: Rafaeo Felix and Guillermo Gonzalez; 4 brothers, 3 sisters, numerous grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 810 W. 23rd Pampa, Texas 79065.
