SERVICES: Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jeff Taylor, officiating. Mrs. Olson's wish was to be cremated, and her and her late husband's ashes be mixed together and placed in Ouachita Lake in Arkansas, a favorite place for them. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Olson was born February 10, 1920 in LaCrosse, Kansas, to Thomas and Ruth Benbow. She graduated from high school and attended college at Fort Hays University in Hays, Kansas until she met and married her love of a lifetime, Cecil Olson on July 6, 1938. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2005. Mr. and Mrs. Olson were married 66 years in this life and are now reunited in Heaven. They moved to Pampa in the fall of 1963 from Great Bend, Kansas. They established Tubing Testers, Inc. in September 1963 and were involved in that business until 1984, at which time they retired. She was a Methodist for over 70 years. SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Kent Olson and wife Phyllis of Phoenix, Arizona and Kim Olson and wife Judy of Greenwood, Arkansas; 1 daughter: Pamela Brown of Dallas; 1 brother: Lyle Benbow of Kansas City, Missouri; 1 sister, Rachel of Medford, Oregon; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Good Samaritan Christian Services, 309 N.
