Chris Webb, minister of the First Baptist Church of Lefors, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2008, at the Restland Cemetery in Olney, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Garrett was born July 12, 1927 in Goree. He married Brucille Gardner on December 18, 1949 at the First Baptist Church in Haskell. She preceded him in death on January 27, 2006. He had been a resident of Lefors since 1961. Dale worked as a pumper for Sinclair and Atlantic Richfield for 31 ½ years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lefors and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.SURVIVORS: Daughter: Dale Ann Epps and husband Joel of Amarillo; 2 grandsons: Ross Anthony Epps and Ashley Garrett Epps; 1 sister: Marcy Hall of Olney; 1 brother: Benny Garrett of Jacksboro.
