SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church with Nancy Ruff, commissioned lay pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Lunsford was born Dec. 22, 1931 in Waukegan, Illinois. She received a B. S. degree from the University of Illinois and later taught school in Illinois. She came to Pampa in 1969 where she taught at Pampa Junior High School for 25 years. Following her retirement, she volunteered for First Presbyterian Church, Good Samaritan Christian Services, and Pampa Regional Medical Center until shortly before her passing. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Lunsford loved to garden and take walks. She was a devoted Christian woman who spent her life serving and loving her family as well as others in the community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Verna Knox.SURVIVORS: Husband: Gene Lunsford of the home; 2 daughters: Linda Osborne and husband Valton of Red Oak and Terri Senior and husband Richard of Waco; 1 son: Steve Busse of Pampa; 2 stepdaughters: Lynn Wright and husband Gene of Austin and Lea Hobbs and husband John of Keller; 1 brother: David Knox and wife Gladys of Williamsville, IL; 1 sister: June Mackey of Waukegan, IL; 4 grandsons: Brandt Osborne of Red Oak, Jerrod Busse, Taylor Busse, and Jeremy Busse, all of Pampa; 3 granddaughters: Lauri Osborne, Ashlie Senior, and Stephanie Senior, all of Waco. 2 stepgrandaughters: Lauren Hobbs and Jennifer Hobbs, both of Keller, and Christy Wright of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: Good Samaritan Christian Services, 309 N.
