He married Melody Edwards on May 3, 1982 in Pampa. He was a roughneck in the oil and gas industry. He was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: Wife: Melody Middleton of the home; 1 son: James Lee Middleton, Jr., of Ada, Oklahoma; 2 daughters: Kaysi Middleton and Kayla Middleton, both of Pampa; 2 brothers: Montey Middleton of Houston and Larry Middleton of Pampa; stepfather: George Murphy of Pampa; 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Bob Middleton and Joyce Murphy, and infant twin sisters.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity.
