Army, Fort Hood, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Ferrell was born February 27, 1927 in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He married Nancy Lee Boylan on November 15, 1953 in Borger. Wilbur was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II. After the war, he returned to Borger and opened Ferrell Service Station which he ran for 20 years. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1965, working as an operator for Celanese, retiring in 1988, and then drove for Panhandle Transit for 6 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa and was a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Borger.SURVIVORS: Wife of 54 years, Nancy Ferrell of the home; 3 sons: Jerry Ferrell & wife Deborah, Tony Ferrell, and David Ferrell & wife Lynn, all of Pampa; 1 daughter-in-law: Cyndi Newell of Borger; 1 brother: O. L. Ferrell of Snyder; 1 sister: A. Lee Ferrell of Dallas; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar & Bertie Ferrell; and 2 brothers, Oscar Ferrell, Jr., and Clifford Ferrell; and a son: Kyrle Ferrell. MEMORIALS: First Baptist Church, P.O.
