W. Leon Taylor

Loving, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Taylor was born January 12, 1932 in Pampa. He married Katie Smith on June 1, 1957 in Clovis, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on September 25, 2004. He had been a longtime resident of Pampa, moving to Clarendon in 1997, and then living in Boerne for the past year. He was a member of the Agape Christian Church in Clarendon and the Pampa Optimist Club in Pampa. He was a drill instructor, and a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Dub Taylor of Boerne, Texas, and Bobby Taylor of Noblesville, Indiana; 2 sisters: Margie Rogers of Pampa and Lynn Bowerman of Aurora, Texas; 5 grandchildren.MEMORIALS: American Heart Association, 6605 I-40 West, Suite A-6, Amarillo, Texas 79106, or the National Kidney Foundation, 6141 W.
