Jim Powell, pastor of Hobart Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa with military rites courtesy of the U. S. Army at Fort Hood, Texas. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Imgarten was born Dec. 6, 1928 in Moberly, Missouri to Emil and Thelma Imgarten. He played the organ for the Lutheran Church in his youth and attended Moberly Junior College and the University of Missouri at Columbia before serving two years in the U. S. Army. Ken began a career in 1950 at Phillips Refinery in Kansas City where he raised a family and was active in his two sons' school and scouting activities, and coaching Little League baseball. He was an avid outdoorsman and NRA instructor. Ken relocated to Pampa in 1984 with Phillips Pipeline where he married Evon Elsheimer on Feb. 14, 1986. He retired from Phillips in 1994 after 44 years of service.SURVIVORS: Wife: Evon Imgarten; 2 sons: Michael Imgarten and wife Valorie of Newark, Delaware and Stephen Imgarten and wife Jan Williams of Santa Fe, New Mexico; two grandchildren: Shealyn Imgarten and Gunnar Imgarten; two stepsons: Courtland French and wife Diane and Craig French; one step-grandson: George French and wife Jamie; and one step-great grandson, Wyatt French.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, TX 79065 or BSA Hospice, P.
