SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Fred Butcher of Moore, Oklahoma, officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Heard was born January 25, 1953 in Pampa where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1971. He was a longtime employee of Crall Products before purchasing the business in 1991. He was a former president of the Pampa Country Club where he was an avid golfer. SURVIVORS: 2 daughters: Jennifer McKeown of Lexington, South Carolina, and Dixie Yearicks of Pampa; 1 son: Ty Heard of Pampa; his father: Ferrel Heard of Kansas, Oklahoma; a sister: Connie Butcher of Moore, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren: Rebekah, Zoe, and Elizabeth Yearicks, all of Pampa, and Jonas McKeown of Lexington, South Carolina; and by his former wife: Leeann Heard of Pampa. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Heard in 1981.
