Barry Loving, pastor of First Christian Church, and Pastor Paul Nachtigall of Highland Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Monday, November 26, 2007, at the Bethany Cemetery in Balko, Oklahoma, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Belvin was born May 30, 1938 in Roswell, New Mexico. He graduated from high school in Artesia, New Mexico. He attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He lived in Artesia, New Mexico until 1970 when he moved to Balko, Oklahoma. He then moved to Pampa in March of 2006. Mr. Belvin was a measurement technician for Natural Gas Pipeline for 30 years. He loved to hunt, work cattle and read. He enjoyed writing and telling stories, and he really loved children.SURVIVORS: 7 daughters: Pam Mendenhall & companion Joe Sanchez, Janis Murphy & husband Michael and Vanessa Cain & husband Ronnie, all of Sylvia, Kansas, Kim Hill & husband Eddie of Pampa, Audra Cobb & husband Doug of Gallup, New Mexico, Rachael Condley & husband Seth of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Rhonda Frantz & husband Mark of Balko, Oklahoma; 5 sons: Jimmy Belvin of Denver, Colorado, Audie Belvin & wife Michelle of Roswell, New Mexico, Brad Autry of Spring, Ricky Belvin & wife Amber of Wyoming, and Ronnie Donaghy & wife Pam of Amarillo; 3 brothers: Stanley Belvin of Montgomery, Bill Belvin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Richard Belvin of Muleshoe; 3 sisters: Sharon Smith of Artesia, New Mexico, Wanda Johnson of Graham, and Peggy Gordon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
