Army personnel, Ft. Hood, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Garvin was born June 20, 1944 in Wetumka, OK. He was raised in Dumas, where he graduated from Dumas High School. He married Terri Bradshaw on December 13, 1974 in Pampa. He worked for Cabot and Ingersoll Rand for 27 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool, and loved spending time with his children. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents Dana and Lucille Garvin.SUVIVORS: His wife: Terri Garvin of the home. 1 son: Matt Garvin and wife Amanda of Rusk, TX. 1daughter: Misty Murrack and husband Philip of Pampa. 1 brother: John Garvin of La Porte, TX. 2 grandsons: Bryson Murrack of Pampa and Max Garvin of Rusk. 2 granddaughters: Makenzie Garvin and Jordan Garvin both of Rusk.MEMORIALS: American Lung Association, 5926 Mo Pac Expressway, Austin, Texas 78731.
