SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, November 19, 2007, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, with Rev. John Westman, pastor of the United Methodist Church of White Deer, Pastor Steve Cox of St. Paul United Methodist Church, and Rev. C. W. Parker, Odyssey Hospice chaplain, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Cotten was born October 30, 1913 in Plano, Texas. She married Noble Charles Cotten on January 20, 1930 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1967. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1942. She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She served several offices within the church, including the Administrative Board. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Mae Taylor; a brother, John William Gray; her parents, Rosa Mae Gray and Milton Joseph Gray; a grandson, Mike Shouse; son-in-law, Howard Shouse; and great-great-grandson, Jeremiah Villagas. SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Sandra Shouse, Peggy Martin, and Lou Dean Cotten, all of Pampa; 2 sisters: Dorothy Kile of Emory, and Mildred Rossee of Rockwall; 1 brother: Jack Gray of Pampa; 5 grandsons: Rick Martin of Abilene, Gary Martin and Bill Shouse, both of Pampa, Travis Franklin of Salado, Chuck Franklin of Arlington; 2 granddaughters: Michelle Busse of Glen Rose and Debe Shouse of Gainesville; 17 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
