SERVICES: Vigil will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, and funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 8, 2007 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Martinez was born September 11, 1932 in Brackettville, Texas. He came to Pampa about 20 years ago from San Angelo. Jose was a TV technician and worked for Pampa Meals on Wheels as a volunteer. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.SURVIVORS: 4 Sons: Rockey Joe Martinez of Roswell, New Mexico, Rodney Martinez and Randy John Martinez, both of Arkansas City, Kansas, and Roger Jessie Martinez of Stratford, Connecticut; 2 daughters: Diana Marie Ramirez and Debbie Renee Perales, both of San Angelo; 2 sisters: Alice Lucille Hernandez and Sara B. Martinez, both of Pampa; 2 brothers: Juan Martinez of Hart and Lupe Martinez of Pampa; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
