SERVICES: Memorial graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2007, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rodney Tedford, minister of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Turner was born July 7, 1915 west of Mobeetie. He had been a resident of Pampa most of his life. He married Billie Jo Davis on November 23, 1949 in Hobbs, New Mexico. He worked for the Frank M. Carter ranch for 34 years as a cattle foreman. He was a Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: Wife: Billie Turner of the home; 1 son: Guy W. Turner of Washington, D.C.; 1 brother: Gaylon Turner & wife Georgia Jean of Hobbs, New Mexico; 2 sisters: Mary Ada Phillipp & husband Leslie of Lohn, and Nina McLeerran & husband Graham of Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.
