Fred Palmer, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Clark was born March 15, 1934 in Bartlesville, OK to Orpha and James Donnell. She married Bobby Gene Ward Sr. on May 6, 1952. She later married Melvin Clark on January 23, 1972 in Vernon. Mrs. Clark grew up in Oklahoma City where she graduated from high school in 1952. After moving to Pampa in 1974, she attended Clarendon College graduating with an associate degree in business administration. Beverly was a nursing home administrator in the Texas Panhandle for 25 years. She was a gracious affectionate caregiver. She was adamant that her nursing staff treat each and every patient with dignity and respect. Under Beverly's administration, all employees were taught to treat each patient as if they were their parents.Beverly cherished her time with family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen, as cooking was her passion. At Christmas, she baked for weeks, spreading the joy of the holidays to family and friends with her baked goodies.Beverly had many friends. John 15:13 is descriptive of the endearing friend she was: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Beverly was a member of the Carpenter's Church in Pampa. When faced with grievous sorrows in her life, she never faltered in her faith and devotion to the Lord. The 23rd Psalm was her favorite scripture, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.SURVIVORS: Husband: Melvin Clark of the home; 1 son: Rusty Ward and wife Sharon of Shreveport, LA; a stepdaughter: Mary Brito of Pampa; 1 brother: Louis (Bub) Donnell of Ochelta, OK; 4 grandchildren: Lisa Busby of Pampa, Hunter Ward, Brittany Ward, and Tiffany Thompson, all of Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Robert and Orville Donnell, a son, Douglas Ward, and two daughters, LaDonna Alderson and Twila Busby, and by 3 grandchildren, Christopher Ward, Elwin (Scooter) Shipp, and Randolph Busby.MEMORIALS: Carpenter's Church, 639 S.
