SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 25, 2007, at the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, with Pastor Jimmye Cole of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Woodruff was born July 14, 1922 in Curtain County, Oklahoma. He married Dorothy Mar Hunt on April 8, 1946 in Wheeler. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II. He owned and operated a Kerr-McGee service station in Pampa for many years. He enjoyed fishing.SURVIVORS: Wife: Dorothy Woodruff of Pampa. 2 Sons: Gary Woodruff & wife Mary of Norman, Oklahoma, and Larry Woodruff of Pampa. 2 Daughters: Glenda Lewis & husband Buddy of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Carolyn Frost & husband Gary of McLean. 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren. 1 Brother: Coleman Woodruff of Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Judge Woodruff on May 13, 2007; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.MEMORIALS: Alzheimer's Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas 79106.
