SERVICES: Memorial services will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Farmer Cemetery in Farmer, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to a reception at 5:00 PM at Miller Park in Edgerton, OH. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, Texas and Krill Funeral Service of Bryan, Ohio.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. McCavit was born on Jan. 21, 1918 in Washington Township, Ohio to Raymond and Nettie Book Perry. She graduated from Farmer High School and Ft. Wayne Business College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She married Ted McCavit on Nov. 24, 1937 in Greenup County, Kentucky. She and Ted moved from Ohio to Texas in 1959. He preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 2000. She was the secretary for the superintendent of schools in Gonzales, Texas for many years. Mrs. McCavit moved to Pampa in 2005 where she was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Gonzales.SURVIVORS: 2 sons: Jim McCavit of Farmer, OH and Jack McCavit and wife Sherry of Pampa; 7 grandchildren: Christina Switzer and husband Sam of Defiance, OH, Wayne McCavit and wife Brenda of Edgerton, OH, Cindy Corral and husband Jamie of Rudolph, OH, J. T. McCavit and wife Amy of Sherwood, OH, Todd McCavit and wife Laura of Dallas, TX, Dr. Tim McCavit and wife Megan of Arlington, TX, and Trey McCavit of Denver, CO; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 6 nephews and 9 nieces. In addition to her husband, Ted, Mrs. McCavit was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Wayne and Morris Perry, and by 2 nephews.MEMORIALS: First United Methodist Church, P. O.
