She graduated from West Texas State University in 1941 and later completed a Master's in education. She married Myrle Norman in 1943 who preceded her in death in 1990. She was a devoted educator and speech therapist for 39 years and taught throughout the Panhandle, finishing her last 26 years in Pampa. She loved to participate in water aerobics and was an active member of the Pampa Senior Citizens Center.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Richard Norman & wife Paige of Abilene, and Robert Norman & wife Carolyn of Reno, Nevada. 2 Cousins: Nancy Whitten and Jan Lockhart, both of Pampa. Close dear friend: Walt Bailey of Pampa. 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren.
