Coast Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. McMinn was born September 8, 1924 in Reed, Oklahoma. He attended school in Childress, Texas. He married Imogene Conway on October 25, 1942 in Altus, Oklahoma. They moved to Lefors in 1961 and Mr. McMinn owned and operated the Floyd McMinn Oilfield Construction & Pipeline, Inc. They moved to Pampa in 1985 after Floyd semi-retired, and he became a civilian investigator for the Pampa Police Department. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa and the Panhandle Country Club. He was a life member of the NRA. He was a member of the Pampa Board of Realtors and the state and national Board of Realtors. He was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard during World War II, serving during the Philippine liberation.SURVIVORS: Wife: Imogene McMinn of the home. 2 Sons: Billy McMinn & wife Wilma of Littlefield, and Mark McMinn of Amarillo. 2 Sisters: Eunice Mills of Weatherford and Lola Faye Mullinax of Amarillo. 2 Grandsons: Chris McMinn & wife Connie and Clint McMinn & wife Traci. 7 Great-Grandsons: Cody McMinn, Tyler McMinn, Kyle McMinn, Ryan McMinn, Seth McMinn, Sean McMinn and Travis Williams. 3 Great-Granddaughters: Samantha Temple, Cheyenne McMinn and Sara McMinn. 1 Great-Great-Grandson: Kascey Temple.
