SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, October 5, 2007, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Michael Erickson, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Sturgill was born April 7, 1931 in Wausau, Wisconsin, and graduated from Wausau High School. She married George T. Sturgill on March 5, 1952. He preceded her in death in August of 1989. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church for over 30 years. She was a cashier for WalMart for 15 years. She enjoyed crocheting. She was a loving, caring mother who loved to spend time with her family. SURVIVORS: 4 Sons: Larry Sturgill & wife Holly, and John Sturgill & wife Tonya, all of Fort Worth, Frank Sturgill and George Sturgill, Jr., & wife Caring, all of Sacramento, California. 2 Daughters: Diane Glass & husband Gene of Sacramento, California and Ellen Batman and husband Melvin of Pampa. 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren. 1 Sister: Shirley Zimpleman of Eagle Pass, Wisconsin.
