SERVICES: 10:00 AM Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ with Rodney Tedford, minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Ripple was born July 25, 1943 in Pampa and was a 1961 graduate of Pampa High School. He entered the U. S. Navy in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1981 with the rank of Chief Hospital Corpsman. He married Lanora Abbott on Aug. 10, 1964 in Annapolis, Maryland. Bill returned to Pampa in 1981 where he worked for the Pampa Sheltered Workshop for over 10 years. He also worked for Radio Shack, the Taylor Mart in Lefors, and Hastings Book Store. He was a member of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ and the Pampa VFW Post.SURVIVORS: Wife: Lanora Abbott Ripple of the home; 1 son: Lance Ripple and wife Candy of Houston; 1 daughter: Sharon Mahaffey and husband Sam of Texhoma, Texas; his mother: Rachel Ripple of Pampa; 1 brother: Dennis Ripple and wife Cerena of Utah; 3 grandchildren: Nathaniel Holt of Bentonville, Arkansas, Mary Jo Collier of Pampa, and Jessie Mahaffey of Texhoma, Texas; a niece: Susan Darling of Wichita Falls; and a nephew, Tim Darling and wife Amber of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin A. Ripple, and by a sister, Diana Louise Darling.MEMORIALS: Pampa Sheltered Workshop, 1301 W.
