SERVICES: 2:00 PM Monday, September 17, 2007, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Miami Cemetery in Miami, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Miss Kiser was born February 22, 1920 in Mead, Oklahoma to George and Maud Kiser. After attending Blue Ribbon Elementary and Mead High Schools, she graduated with a B.S. degree from Southeastern State College at Durant, Oklahoma. She was a member and past president of the Kappa Kappa Iota Sorority. She taught ten years in the elementary schools in Oklahoma. After moving to Texas in 1953, Stella earned a Master's degree in elementary education while teaching at White Deer. She moved to Pampa in 1958 where she taught at Austin Elementary and Travis Elementary for 25 years, retiring in 1983 after 40 years of service. Stella was a member of the First Baptist Church where she worked for many years in the Sixth Grade Sunday School department, and later became a member of the Grace Class. She also worked in the Homebound Department of the church. Stella was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association, the Pampa Retired Teachers Association, and was a volunteer for the Pampa Meals on Wheels and the Good Samaritan Christian Services. She served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Top O' Texas Knife and Fork Club and was a member of the Friends of the Pampa Regional Medical Center. SURVIVORS: Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maud Kiser; her brothers, Chester Kiser of Bokchito, Oklahoma, and Clinton Kiser of Mead, Oklahoma; her sisters, Alice Tracy of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Leona Childers of Mead, Oklahoma, Ila Love of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and Vera Nolty of Miami.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pampa Meals on Wheels, P.O.
