SERVICES: Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2007, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Rev. Charles Lowry, pastor of the Crosspointe Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Melear was born February 7, 1956 in Amarillo. He had been a resident of Pampa most of his life. He worked for Chase Production and D. E. Chase Trucking for the past 30 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Melear, Sr., on June 6, 1989, and by a brother, Gaylon Melear, on August 12, 1993.SURVIVORS: Mother: Wilma Melear of Pampa. 2 Sisters: Sonja Ellis and Gwen Manning, both of Amarillo. 1 Brother: Douglas Melear, Jr., of Jasper. 3 Nephews, 4 Nieces.
