SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, August 27, 2007, at the White Deer Cemetery, with Rev. Alan Wilson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of White Deer, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Wheeler was born August 1, 1919 in Centralia, Illinois. She married Joseph E. Wheeler on August 11, 1942 in San Antonio. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2001. She had been a resident of White Deer since 1952, moving to Panhandle to live at Garretson's Retirement Center in November of 2002. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of White Deer, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Knife & Fork Club of Pampa, and the White Deer Homemakers.SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: James Wheeler & wife Shan of Midland, Otto Wheeler & wife Suzy of Austin, and Dean Wheeler & wife Carolyn of White Deer. 3 Grandchildren: Scott Wheeler, Duncan Wheeler and Kendall Wheeler. 2 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 7 siblings. MEMORIALS: Garretson's Retirement Center, 503 Pecan, Panhandle, Texas 79068, or the White Deer EMS, P.O. Box 98, White Deer, Texas 79097.
