SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at Gageby Cemetery in Hemphill County with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Miss Francis was born Jan. 29, 1923 in Hemphill County, Texas to John Henry and Maye Barker Francis. She resided with her parents on their farm in the Gageby Community until age 19. At that time, she attended business college in Amarillo for eight months and then went to work for Magnolia Petroleum Co. in Amarillo on June 14, 1943. Exie was transferred to Dallas on Oct. 1, 1962 where she worked in several different departments of Magnolia/Mobil, retiring on July 1, 1982 after 39 years of service. She was a past president of Desk and Derrick Club of Dallas and was a member of the Book Mark Review Club. Her church membership was still at First Baptist Church of Amarillo. She loved God, her country, her beloved family, and her many good friends. SURVIVORS: Brother: Cecil Clay Francis of Pampa; Sister: Noveta Faye Shannon of Pasadena, TX; by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Zane Gray Francis.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, P. O.
