SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Oklahoma, with Rev. Phil Ovalle, son-in-law, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Ivie was born June 10, 1919 in Eva, Oklahoma. He married Erma Lorene Weikle on August 2, 1941 in Guymon, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 1998. He was a farmer and worked for Allen Tire Company in Guymon. He farmed for Bill Logsdon in Hitchland, Oklahoma for 15 years. He moved to Pampa in 1990 after his retirement. He was a member of Briarwood Full Gospel Church in Pampa. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved listening to gospel music. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as working on mechanical projects. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Charles Eugene Ivie of Lakeside, Arizona, and David Mark Ivie & wife Jenita of Dumas. 3 Daughters: Mildred Lorene Ovalle & husband Phil of Portland, Oregon, Mary Rosett Robinson of Pampa, and Shirley Ruth Williams & husband Lorraine Edward of San Antonio. 1 Brother: Cecil Sylvester Ivie of Guymon, Oklahoma. 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.MEMORIALS: Briarwood Full Gospel Church Family Life Center, 1800 W. Harvester, Pampa, Texas 79065.
