SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, July 13, 2007, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. John Westman, pastor of the United Methodist Church of White Deer, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Krause was born May 5, 1923, in Moline, Kansas, the fourth of seven children born to Leroy and Jim Roberta Archer. She was a graduate of Pampa High School. She was a lifelong Methodist and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She worked for Beech Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas during World War II. She then became busy raising her family, her favorite job. After her children were grown and her husband passed away, she volunteered for Good Samaritan Christian Services for many years. She loved pets of many varieties, and especially her last dog "Cappy". She will be greatly missed by her best neighbors and friends, Gerry Caylor and Hilda Duncan. She leaves behind the love and pride of her life, her family. She was a beautiful and dynamic person who loved life. She was part of the greatest generation. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Walter Raleigh Krause, Jr., and her firstborn son, Chipper, her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family wishes to thank the staff of BSA Hospice of Pampa for their wonderful care and support, especially Sue and Debbie. SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Robin Krause of Houston. 2 Sons: Hans Christopher Krause of Houston and Kurt Allen Krause of Granite Shoals. 2 Grandchildren: Christopher Walter Krause and Austin Chase Krause. 1 Sister: Jeri Culberson of Sugarland. 1 Brother: Jack Archer of Kingman, Kansas, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
