Ted Heiskell

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Fairview Cemetery with Paul Nachtigall, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Heiskell was born May 10, 1949 in Pampa and was a 1967 graduate of Pampa High School, where he excelled in football. He attended the University of Houston on a football scholarship, and after college, he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals. After a short time in the NFL, an injury forced him to retire from football. He worked as pipefitter for construction companies for several years. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church and the University of Houston Alumni Association. Mr. Heiskell was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Elizabeth Heiskell, and by a brother, Larry Heiskell.SURVIVORS: 1 son: Jerrod Imel of Pampa; 1 daughter: Sarah Gallagher of Pampa; 1 sister: Vicki Heiskell of Pampa; and 2 grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Pampa Optimist Club, P.
