SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. C. W. Parker, Odyssey Hospice chaplain, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Davis was born April 24, 1923 in Reydon, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa for 60 years. She owned and operated Davis Upholstery for 15 years and she worked for Ideal Grocery for 15 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge # 1163. She loved oil painting and dancing.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Mary Ruth Wallace & husband Carl of Dumas, and Nancy Cherry of Seminole. 6 Sons: Calvin Davis & wife Rita of Quanah, Larry Davis & wife Joy, Bobby Davis & wife Vickie, Gordon Davis & wife Cathy and Tony Davis & wife Melody, all of Pampa, and Scotty Davis of Groom. 3 Brothers: Claude Hamon of Sacramento, California, Oscar Hamon of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and Glen Hamon of Hobbs, New Mexico. 3 Sisters: Bessie Richter of Portland, Oregon, Wendy Richter of Oregon, and Wanda Parker of Shamrock. 21 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Mabel Hamon; 1 brother Kenneth Hamon; 1 sister Ima Mills; 1 daughter-in-law Barbara Davis; and 1 son-in-law Bob Cherry.
